Solar Energy and Wind Power?  What do you do when the sun isn't shining or the wind isn't blowing? Snicker snicker.  These
taunts invariably "prove" that nuclear power is what we need to overcome these problems.  However, What do you do when frequent nuclear plant shut-downs occur?  Nuke shut-downs can last more than a year. 

What do you do when an entire electrical distribution system is distroyed by a nuclear weapon, which comes to us with the compliments of the nuclear club.  Nuclear power proliferates nuclear weapons building around the world.  Safeguards are woefully inadequate.  The so-called
"Atoms-for-peace" program is really an international bombs-for-sale program. 

Electricity generated by wind power or solar energy can be stored by various methods.  One method is to perform electrolysis on water.  This creates hydrogen at one electrode and oxygen at the other.  Both are marketable gases.  Hydrogen is an ideal, pollution free fuel, for engines, generators, and fuel cells.  It produces an effluent of pure water.  We can make as much hydrogen as we need using solar arrays in the great American Southwest desert.  We need a hydrogen economy, rather than the plutonium economy so ardently schemed for by the nuclear club.
